Zimbabwean rapper Holy Ten, born Mukudzei Chitsama, has issued a public apology to President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s sons, Sean and Collins, following a late-night social media outburst where he made a series of serious accusations and threats against them and the ruling ZANU PF party.
The incident, which unfolded on the night of Sunday, September 7, 2025, saw the 26-year-old artist post a number of impassioned videos and messages on his Instagram account. He accused the Mnangagwa twins of humiliating him by repossessing gifts he had allegedly received, including a house.
A Series of Accusations and Threats
During the online posts, Holy Ten, who was a vocal supporter of ZANU PF during the 2023 election campaign, appeared agitated and made several direct threats. In one video, he directly addressed Sean Mnangagwa, stating:“Sean, what you did at my house, I’m coming to your house. Make sure you kill me. I’m not afraid of Zanu PF, all of you. I’m not afraid of you. Stop what you are doing.”
He continued his tirade by claiming he held significant influence, declaring:
“I can end the Zanu PF today. I’m bigger than the Zanu PF.”
The artist’s frustration seemed to stem from the alleged repossession of property. In one post directed at his wife, Kimberly Richards, he said, “Pack all our things.

We’re giving them back their house.” He also targeted Collins Mnangagwa, challenging his popularity and warning him not to interfere. “Collins thinks he is loved by the people, let him start a ‘live’ right now, let’s see how many people join. Do not mess with me,” he stated, adding, “I know where Collins lives, don’t worry.”
From Political Ally to Public Critic
The public confrontation marks a dramatic reversal from Holy Ten’s previous alignment with the ruling party. In 2023, he emerged as a prominent youthful supporter of ZANU PF, performing at campaign rallies and featuring in songs that endorsed the party’s leadership. At the time, he defended his position as an effort to inspire young people. His political stance drew criticism from parts of his fanbase, but he also appeared to receive support from high-profile figures within the party. Reports at the time suggested he received material benefits, including property and vehicles, in recognition of his support. It was these alleged gifts that became the focus of his frustration during the late-night broadcast, where he reminded his audience, “I joined Zanu PF because I was trying to clean the reputation, the image of Zanu PF. What you did, boys, I can finish all of you off.”
Sudden Reversal and Public Apology
The series of posts, which occurred between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM, generated significant online reaction, with social media users expressing a mix of mockery and genuine concern for the artist's safety following his direct threats.Shortly after the outburst, Holy Ten’s Instagram account was deactivated. However, it was reactivated hours later with a starkly different message. In a brief post, he retracted his earlier statements entirely, writing:
“Apologies to my brothers Sean & Collins.”
The Mnangagwa family has not issued a public statement regarding the accusations or the subsequent apology. The incident has left many questioning the nature of the relationship between the artist and his former political allies, and what led to the sudden and public falling out.
