Zimbabwean dancehall star Jah Signal has once again found himself at the center of controversy following the release of a new song that samples the late music icon Oliver Mtukudzi's classic track, "Mbabvu Yangu."
The artist, who is currently embroiled in a copyright dispute with the Charambas and the Fishers of Men, recently dropped a new single titled "Usacheuka," featuring music producer Mr. Brown.
The song includes lyrics borrowed from Mtukudzi's popular hit, "Mbabvu Yangu," without clear permission.
This move has not gone unnoticed, as Jah Signal is already facing backlash on social media for allegedly infringing on the intellectual property of the legendary musician.

Jah Signal Under Fire for Sampling Oliver Mtukudzi's Song in New Release! |
Many critics have accused him of laziness and arrogance, claiming that he failed to seek authorization before using Mtukudzi's lyrics in his own work.
The uproar comes on the heels of Jah Signal's previous run-ins with copyright issues, which led to the removal of two of his songs, "Shinga Muroora" (Sweetie) and "Tengai Mafuta," from YouTube due to violations.
As the debate rages on online, it remains to be seen how Jah Signal will address the growing criticism and whether he will take steps to rectify the situation with respect to intellectual property rights in his music.
