The church leader claimed to possess special powers, contending that she had successfully revived ten deceased individuals in the past.

Apostle Ruramai Nhapata, accompanied by Priest Nyamungara, allegedly entered the mortuary with the intention of bringing Gift Takudzwa Shiriyapenga back to life. 

The church leader instructed a church member to place a cellphone on the deceased's ear while she undressed and began massaging the body. During the ritual, she loudly proclaimed that Shiriyapenga would be resurrected. 

This unauthorized intrusion into the mortuary and the attempt to tamper with the deceased resulted in their arrest by the police.

Statements from the Involved Parties:

Apostle Nhapata showed defiance in the face of her arrest. She asserted that she was ready to face justice, stating that she was merely exercising her faith and doing the work of God. The church leader even claimed previous successful resurrections of ten individuals who had been pronounced dead. 

However, it is important to note that the deceased, Gift Takudzwa Shiriyapenga, had no familial relation to Apostle Nhapata and was not a member of her Trinity International Fellowship Ministry.
