Videos of embattled comedienne and socialite Mai TT arriving at the Harare Magistrates’ Court hiding her face in prison uniform has broken the internet.
Mai TT, born Felistas Murata, went to court today where she is expected to be handed down her sentence.
Mai TT was found guilty yesterday of theft of trust property. This is in relation to a case in which she surrendered a hired car as surety to a loan shark before retrieving it and surrendered an invalid passport as surety.
In her judgment, the magistrate described the case as a “classic case of theft of trust property.” The State prosecution applied to have her remanded in custody.

As she stepped out of the doomed green machine, she donned the red and white “criminals” jersey with green prison dresses.
Surprisingly, Mai TT had a big sunhat and she covered her face with a face mask so much that it was difficult for viewers to recognise her, save for the cue from the videographers.
The influential social media comedienne trudged begrudgingly towards the court’s gate before it was opened and she walked disgracefully, each second inching closer to her fate.
