This Is Why The British Hate Meghan And Racism Allegations Are All False

Following their shock announcement that they were stepping back from Royal Duty, Prince Harry and Meghan have come under fire for their controversial decision.

Social media is divided with many applauding Meghan and Harry for quitting as the British Press was hostile towards the couple. The other camp, however, is not buying Meghan’s excuse of blaming the media and are accusing the former Suits Actor of breaking the unsigned contract between the public and The Royals. According to The Sun, The British people pay the taxes and the Royals must perform their expected duties.

However, Harry and Meghan want the lifestyle but don’t want the work. The British Royal Family is bankrolled by taxpayers and as such, the latter believe they are entitled to share in the lives of their monarchs. The same sentiments were shared by veteran journalist Piers Morgan in an interview.

'I quite predicted and understand why Meghan Markle finds royal duties stifling and boring and wants to be a global Hollywood superstar.

‘But Harry was born into this and he should know better than most people that in return of all the servants and palaces and luxury life, that actually you have to perform what’s called duty.’

‘That is what the royal family do, that’s why they exist. They perform a public duty.
‘And it seems to me that what these two now want, is they want their cake and all the royal trimmings, but they don’t want to work for it in the way all the other royals do.’

The Tabloid goes on to highlight that the UK is the most welcoming place on Earth and allegations of racism are being used as a scapegoat to hide the fact that Markle is a drama queen who failed to adapt to the responsibilities that come with being a royal. What’s your take on the matter, Is racism at play here?
