As they transition into a new lifestyle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Prince Harry and Meghan opted to cut off the official Royal Reporters from getting all access into their lives.
The reason behind the exclusion may be attributed to the fact that the Royal Reporters have shown subtle favouritism towards the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Kate Middleton)

Due to this, Prince Harry and Meghan announced on their official website that they are breaking up with the new protocol and their media strategy would no longer be participating in the royal press system that granted exclusive access to a select group of UK outlets.
The news, however, has not come as a total shocker as Harry and Meghan have come out and publicly reprimanded the press before. The said they believed the media treated them unfairly since the moment news broke of their relationship.
Among other complaints, they said they felt bullied and some news carried racial undertones and that they have been held to a different standard than Prince William and Kate Middleton.
