Beyonce’s fans, the Beehive, were left on disbelief and agony when Queen B revealed that she has had suffered ‘several’ miscarriages and faced sexual harassment.
Beyonce has been known to have a very private life and the news made shockwaves.
Beyonce, a mother of three, exposed her vulnerable side and fans could only shed tears. The sexual harassment claim was made by Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, who claimed that Beyonce was harassed by two members of the once-popular group, Jagged Edge when she was 16.
Mathew further alleges: “‘ Now, remember the girls were minors: They’re 16-years-old, the guys are 21- and 22-years-old,”
“I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé… saying that they were constantly being harassed by two of the members in Jagged Edge,” he said. “I couldn’t have that. I literally had to put the guys off the bus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.”
Beyonce, on the other hand, has also shared her miscarriage journey with the world. She told the publication that her idea of success was vastly different from what it was a few years ago and that the pain of miscarrying had taught her how to mother.
“I learnt that all pain and loss is, in fact, a gift. Having miscarriages taught me that I had to mother myself before I could be a mother to someone else.”Bey said that after a difficult pregnancy with Blue, she took a year off to focus on her health.
Bey’s husband, Jay-Z, first hinted at the couple suffering a miscarriage in his song, Glory.
Bey also touched on it in a documentary about her, Life Is But a Dream, in which she described a song she wrote about the incident as the saddest song she had ever written.
