Deputy Minister Terence Mukupe’s apology has been described as a display of arrogance which is synonymous with Zanu Pf amid increasing calls for him to step down.
Mukupe, who is on record saying that the military will not allow MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa to ascend to power even if he wins the forthcoming polls said in his statement that he was quoted out of context.

After his statement on national radio, Mukupe allegedly walked out of the studio and assaulted Newsday journalist Blessed Mhlanga’s wife and confiscated her mobile phone with the assistance of his security aides.
