A 24-year-old Kenyan man who chopped off his penis on the eve of Valentine's Day, because he believed his wife was having an affair with his brother, has apologised for his act.
Duncan Moseti said that he committed the act after his wife denied him sex.
Moseti spoke from his hospital bed in Thika where he has been undergoing reconstructive surgery.
According tothe Standard, Moseti first attempted to cut off his wife’s breasts, but ended up severing his penis.
Doctors who treated him said it would be hard to reattach the genitals.

Moseti said he regretted the unusual act and apologised to his wife.
"What I did to myself is not a normal thing, but embarrassing," Moseti was quoted as saying.
His 20-year-old wife told Citizen TV that she had already forgiven him.
"I won't leave him just because he doesn’t have (his manhood). Since he has forgiven me, I will stay though he is jealous," she said.
