Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has gone from twinkle toes to tinkling the piano keys.

The Manchester City winger has signed a music teacher in a bid to play like famous pianist Liberace.

He decided to learn after spending £10,000 on a Yamaha piano for his plush home.

Sterling told close pals that playing tunes helps him relax after weekend matches.

A source said: “He bought the piano a while back and had been walking past it every day and running his fingers down the keyboard, promising himself that one day he’d get some lessons.

“Now he’s taken the plunge and is enjoying immersing himself in the music.

He is proving quite adept, he’s got rhythm and fl ow on the fi eld and people with that inner feeling for balance and timing usually make good pupils.”

The England player, 20, became the most expensive English footballer following a £49million transfer from Liverpool in July.

The dad-of-one said: “If I go out, I’m always asked for selfies, so I’ve spent money making my house a fun place.

“I’ve got an indoor pool, half a basketball court, a games room and my own barber’s area.”
