HARARE – The Government of Zimbabwe has reportedly announced a sweeping ban on tinted car windows for both public transport and private vehicles in a decisive move to tackle rising drug abuse and criminal activities.
According to reports from EarGround TV, the new measure will not apply to security and designated VIP vehicles, which will be permitted to retain their window tints.
The decision comes after official investigations revealed that vehicles with heavily tinted windows were frequently being used to conceal and transport illegal drugs.
