Harare, Zimbabwe – Controversial preacher Apostle Talent Chiwenga is embroiled in a new, deeply personal scandal after his alleged former maid, Tsitsi Chendambuya (31), publicly claimed they were involved in a three-year-long adulterous affair.
The explosive allegations were made during a tell-all interview on the popular DJ Ollah 7 Podcast, where Chendambuya asserted that the affair took place while Apostle Chiwenga's late wife was still alive. The interview has sent shockwaves across social media, sparking intense debate and speculation.
Chendambuya alleged that Chiwenga would sometimes sneak into her room at night, explaining his nocturnal activities by saying he rarely slept for long hours due to health reasons. "Even in the house. Sometimes anogona kunge aripo, sometimes anogona kunge asipo. Zvaiwanzoitika manheru anenge arara, then he would come to my room," she claimed.
"He told me that, ‘I wish dai ndakasangana newe kudhara’. Maybe he wanted to have two wives, I don’t know," she added, suggesting he might have considered taking her as a second wife.
Chendambuya stated that the alleged affair spanned a period of three years, from 2017 to 2020. She claimed it began to slow down after Apostle Chiwenga relocated to South Africa, though she alleged that she would still occasionally visit him there.

Public Reacts with Skepticism and Speculation
The bombshell interview has, predictably, sparked a firestorm of debate online. The reactions are sharply divided, with many questioning Chendambuya's motives for publicly sharing such personal and potentially damaging claims. Some users have outright dismissed the story as false, suggesting it could be a politically motivated or orchestrated effort to tarnish the controversial church leader’s reputation. - @Chofamba: "Who goes on a popular podcast to expose their own adulterous affair? Especially when they’re not doing so out of penitence but rather, even revelling in the saucy revelations! What incentive drives a person to parade their own moral indiscretions in this manner? What’s the payout from all this? Or are they being paid by others to do so? 🤔"
- @TTMambeu: "That’s a fake story right there. Very fake!"
- @tnnyamu: "They failed to kill him; now they want to discredit him with blatantly false allegations. Shame on this podcast for looking for content like this."
- @2022TheRidge: "I’m surprised kune varikuti she’s lying. Ini, I can never vouch for a fellow man akapomerwa mhosva, we are guilty until proven innocent 😅"
