Harare - Zimbabwean politician, Linda Masarira, was recently hospitalized for undisclosed reasons.
It has since been revealed that her husband was arrested for allegedly assaulting her. Details regarding the nature of the assault are yet to be made public. However, unverified reports allege that Ms. Masarira sustained serious injuries, including the loss of an eye.
The assault is believed to have transpired after Ms. Masarira discovered her husband in an inappropriate situation with her daughter.
