This development comes in the wake of a viral social media photo featuring Freeman alongside Godknows Machingura, an armed robber who was later killed in a shootout with police in Harare. 

The Zimbabwe Republic Police, through their official Twitter account, confirmed that Freeman is currently being interviewed in connection with ongoing investigations and his alleged connections to criminal activities.

This is not the first instance that Freeman has faced questioning in relation to criminal allegations and his ties with individuals involved in armed robberies. Previously, he was brought in for questioning after another photo surfaced of him with Charles Chirara, one of the armed robbers who was shot during a police operation. 

Freeman has vehemently denied any involvement in criminal activities, asserting that his interactions with these individuals were based on social or professional encounters. Notably, he clarified that his connection to Machingura was related to the sponsorship of a music video and that he was unaware of Chirara's criminal affiliations.

As the investigation unfolds, Freeman maintains his innocence, emphasizing that his interactions with the individuals in question were not indicative of any involvement in illegal activities. 

The unfolding situation has prompted widespread discussion and scrutiny within the public domain, underscoring the delicate balance between social associations and potential criminal implications for public figures like Freeman.
