Watson Chidzomba, known for his contributions to the screen and former management role at Oliver Mtukudzi's Pakare Paye Arts Centre, passed away on Thursday at a private hospital in Norton. His son, Watson Chidzomba Junior, confirmed the news, attributing his father's demise to complications related to an ulcer.
Chidzomba Senior's legacy on screen included memorable roles in dramas and movies such as 'Zviri Mudendere,' alongside notable performances as a detective and revered paternal figures.
The sorrow in the industry deepened with the untimely passing of ZBC producer Julius Chirume, who succumbed to an unexpected death at Madokero Clinic. Chirume, who started as a sports intern at ZBC in 2009, later transitioned into a producer role within the Kidznet section of the TV, News, and Current Affairs department, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and creativity.
