Members of the popular group Naiza Boom have spoken up about their recent departure, shedding light on the reasons behind their exit.
Terrence Chirinda (Jatiwero), Yvonne Chirowa (Vovo), Myron Muswe (Ozemwa), and Enlight Muzira (Netsai) left the group after nine years, citing low salaries and unprofessional behaviour from the group’s director, Michael Machiwona.

Ozemwa, one of the departing members, revealed to Chibanda Media that he and his colleagues had brought these issues to the public’s attention.
He accused Naiza Boom of paying them significantly low wages, describing the pay as peanuts.
According to Ozemwa, Naiza Boom initially paid a fair salary but gradually reduced it to an inadequate amount.
“Inini, Jatiwero Vovo na Netsai tiri four tisu takabuditsa nyaya iyi. Chakapa kuti tibuditse nyaya iyi tashungurudzika, tatambudzika. Nhau yanyanya kutambudza, yekutanga inhau isalary. Allegations of Unprofessional Behavior
He also claimed that Naiza Boom used divisive tactics among the members, causing conflicts and a lack of respect within the group.“Naiza haana respect. Haagoni kutaura. Naiza Boom Scandal: Vovo’s Perspective
Vovo, another member, echoed Ozemwa’s concerns about insufficient earnings. She stated that the money they received from Naiza Boom was not enough to sustain their basic needs.

When asked what their next steps are, Vovo said they plan to establish their own group and YouTube channel.
