President Emmerson Mnangagwa has issued a stern warning to supporters of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) regarding the serious legal ramifications they may face if involved in any acts of violence.
According to a statement shared by Information Secretary Nick Mangwana, President Mnangagwa reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ongoing development efforts, undeterred by any potential threats.
President Mnangagwa said:
“We are going forward with our development program, we will not stop our development programs because of some little boys. I warn anybody who may want to bring any chaos in this country we are ready. Whoever shall preach hate speech will be responsible for their hate speech our Prisons are not full.”

Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, the ZRP spokesperson, has expressed serious concerns regarding the offensive messages circulating on social media platforms, which are fueling violence and encouraging illegal gatherings, particularly in Harare and Bulawayo.
The ZRP is on high alert and will take decisive action against any individuals or groups that disturb the current peaceful environment in the country.
Furthermore, the ZRP urges the public to report anyone circulating false messages on social media platforms to facilitate swift and appropriate action.
