Jah Prayzah’s recent actions have caused confusion among Zimbabweans. He shared lyrics from his song “Teya Mariva,” which is from his latest album called “Chiremera.”
This move raised eyebrows, especially because it followed South African artist Makhadzi’s statements about Winky D’s role in the Africa Music Festival UK mishap.
Winky D’s Prolonged Performance and Makhadzi’s Allegations
At the event, Winky D reportedly had an unusually long performance of 80 minutes. This extended performance affected Makhadzi’s scheduled time and encroached on Jah Prayzah’s performance slot. Makhadzi accused the event’s promoter of exploiting her and Jah Prayzah’s popularity to sell tickets but intentionally not giving them enough stage time. She believed this manipulation was part of a deliberate effort to harm their reputations.
Apologizing to her Zimbabwean fans, Makhadzi admitted that she had no control over the situation and expressed her regrets for not being able to deliver the anticipated performance.
