The man, Blessing Moyo, claimed that his stamina was taken during the rituals. The incident came to light after he failed to satisfy his wife, Rutendo Mutukwa, who then left him.

The Alleged Bedding Rituals

Blessing claimed that he was lured into the rituals by his mother-in-law, Tambudzayi Mukandi, for the love of money. He also stated that he was instructed by the sangoma to have intercourse with his wife in full view of his mother-in-law.

According to Blessing, he and his wife were instructed to take off their clothes and he was then told to have intercourse with his mother-in-law before having with his wife in full view of his mother-in-law.

“Ndakazotemwa nyora kumusana nemuchiuno namai vemudzimai. Ipapo ndipo pandinofunga kuti ndakatorerwa simba rose. Ndakatorerwa chiwuno changu uye handichabvumidzwe kuona vana vangu,” stated Blessing.

Police Investigation

Mukandi was enraged by Blessing’s claims and made a police report against him. Tambudzayi is accusing his son in law of calling her a witch, reported hmetro. 

The two parties are expected to appear in court today. Rutendo, who was admitted to a hospital in South Africa and could not be reached for comment.

Blessing regrets his actions and blames his mother-in-law for convincing him and his wife to consult a sangoma in 2017. 

He caused a scene in Glen View where his children are staying and exposed the rituals out of anger.
