His trial, once again, has been postponed due to the absence of a forensic report. 

Blot’s lawyer, Dumisani Mthombeni, has issued a stern warning. If the report is not submitted on the next remand date, they will refuse further remand, according to a report from H-metro.

Blot was arrested on June 15 after the police received a tip-off that he was taking crystal meth in his parked car in Sunningdale. He was found using crystal meth, also known as mutoriro, in a parked Toyota Corolla. A plastic bag containing some of the dangerous drugs was also recovered from the vehicle. 

The forensic report, which is crucial in determining whether the substance in Blot’s possession was indeed crystal meth, has not been submitted yet. As a result, the trial has been postponed, and Blot’s lawyer has expressed concerns about the repeated delays.

Sunningdale Community’s Response to Dangerous Drugs

The Sunningdale community has expressed anger and concern over the increase in drug abuse among youths. They have specifically mentioned the abuse of drugs along Matiza Road and kuChimbarembare. Blot’s involvement in dangerous drugs abuse has further fueled their frustration. A resident from the community has called for a clean-up exercise to save the lives of the youth who have been negatively affected by mutoriro.

Blot, known for his hit songs such as “Ndiri Bad,” “Humbangu,” and “Skelewu,” has collaborated with other Zimdancehall artists including Bounty Lisa and Ndunge Yut. However, his involvement in drug abuse has tarnished his career and reputation.
