The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ)’s Financial Intelligence Unit, with the Combating of Financing of Terrorism agency, and the Insurance and Pensions Commission is investigating gold baron Ewan Macmillan and Prophet Uebert Angel after they were named in Al Jazeera’s gold corruption probe.
Angel is named in the dirty money investigation titled Unveiling Zimbabwe’s Dark Secrets: Al Jazeera exposes looting, plunder and money laundering, a two-year probe on corruption and money laundering in Zimbabwe involving gold and senior government officials and their cronies.
The documentary is expected to premiere tomorrow evening.
