The Mjolo Tapes that popular music producer DJ Levels allegedly leaked seem to be working in his favour if videos from his last night’s return to stage are anything to go by.

Levels made his return at Mashwede night club’s China Chemadzimai, weeks after he disappeared over accusations of deliberately leaking Mjolo Tapes he recorded with ex-girlfriend and musician Ashley “Shashl” Moyo during happier times.

Scenes shared by Levels’ partner in crime, Dj Fantan, on his Facebook show scores of men and women screaming Hombe in allusion to Baba Harare’s run away song Haubvire

Levels is currently facing charges of violating the Data Protection Act over the leaked tapes.


Meanwhile, multi-award-winning musician, Ammara Brown, has vowed never to associate with Levels until he atones for his sins. Speaking at a European Union event, Ammara emphasised that she has entirely lost respect for Levels over his actions.
