Joseph Madziyire's Mother and Aspher Madziyire Wife Falls into A Coma

The wife of the former AFM in Zimbabwe President, Aspher Madziyire collapsed and fell into a coma.

This was revealed by President Madziyire in a statement that was published on his page this evening.

PUBLIC STATEMENT:

The last couple of days have been quite difficult and challenging for us as a family.

To narrate, on Saturday, after she had done some ministration and prayers our mother (Mrs Josephine Madziyire) suffered an attack that made her collapse while at the Rufaro Conference centre in Masvingo. She was then ferried and transferred to a hospital in Masvingo before being transported to an (undisclosed) location here in Harare.

The immediate and unplanned situation left all of us emotionally and mentally drained. We are however grateful to let everyone know that she is now conscious and getting all the necessary attention and on her road to recovery.

If we have missed your calls or failed to respond please forgive us and allow us time to deal with this as a family. What we would really appreciate for now is your support in prayers day and night.

While she is a mother to many, The facility she is being treated can only accommodate not so many of us, so we will not be able to have any visitors as of now. When she is in a position and a place where visitors are able to come, we will inform you and respond to all the messages and phone calls.

Once again, we have been overwhelmed by the LOVE and SUPPORT from all over the world even while the news has been circulated unofficially.
