Controversial comedienne, Mai titi, real name Felistas Murata has revealed that her US-based estranged husband Tinashe Maphosa is a holder of a theology certificate.
Mai Titi made the revelation last night in an interview with Star FM radio presenter DJ Ollah 7.
“I never saw the scam coming because I believed he is a genuine man, he would often give me US$1500.00 then later tell me that his bank accounts had been frozen, which made it easy to believe. To add to that, he is a pastor, he has a certificate.”
Mai Titi had a flamboyant wedding with Maphosa where she splashed up to US$100 000 back in April.
So extravagant was the wedding ceremony that she invited South African songbird, Kelly Khumalo to serenade guests.

However, it later turned out that she did not fork the whole amount from her own pocket. According to the comedienne, she borrowed some of the money in anticipation that her husband would reimburse as agreed.
Alas, after the wedding, Maphosa did not honour his word, which led to Mai Titi’s public meltdown.
The public spat degenerated into separating the two barely four months after their wedding.
In a move to signify a new chapter, Mai Titi burnt her expensive wedding gown which she said was worth a whopping US$6 000.
Many found her actions insensible considering the fact that there was once a Go Fund Me campaign to help pull her out of debt.
Meanwhile, Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) activist Hopewell Chin’ono has blasted Zimbabweans for flocking in their numbers to watch the Mai Titi-Ollah 7 interview on Facebook.
