It’s firing season in the radio industry!!! Star FM has parted ways with radio presenter DJ Mbale just days after rival station, Power FM allegedly suspended breakfast show presenters Pathisani Sibanda and Tinashe Chikuse.
Star FM announced the development in a statement shared on Facebook.
“Star FM has parted ways with DJ Mbale over various issues. We appreciate his contribution to brand Star FM and wish him well in his future endeavours.”

In their place, the management introduced new hosts for The Morning Drive show which includes comedian, Nijo, who makes his debut on radio alongside Rachel and Rugare.
In a Facebook post making rounds, the station said the new team will be holding it down until the former hosts are back.
