Boitumelo Thulo (born April 28, 1990), in Potchefstroom, North West. She grew up staying with her grandmother (Maternal). Boity is the only daughter of her mother Modiehi Thulo.

Education and Qualification:

Boity studied at Potchefstroom Girls High. She then partially studied Criminology and Psychology at Monash University but later dropped out due to a lack of finance to pay her university fees.

She signed for a casting agency in 20210 which saw her participating in a Wimpy commercial.

Boity Thulo, Cassper Nyovest, Engagement, and Breakup

Boity previously dated rapper Cassper Nyovest forming a combined name “Boivest” before their break up. The pair got engaged but called off their engagement when their relationship ended in December 2015.

Cassper and Boity were friends before dating, way before the money and the fame. Boity met Cassper when she was 14 years old, by then she was dating her ex-boyfriend. She met Cassper on her way to see her ex-boyfriend’s sister, on that day she told advancing Cassper to back off. Two years later when she was 16 they dated and broke up, they dated again when she was 19.

When asked about the cutest thing that Cassper did to her besides expensive roses, gifts, and dinners, Boity revealed that Cassper pimped her car.

Boity had long-term plans with Cassper, when asked if Cassper had to ask her to marry him. her answer was simple…Yes.

When they broke up, Cassper Nyovest set South Africa alight with his new track Super X, which refers to his break-up with then-girlfriend Boitumelo Thulo.

Cassper revealed that he was disappointed that Boity confirmed the breakup to the press before she told him about the breakup. He learned about the breakup on news.

Despite breaking up, he praised her for not cheating on him like his ex-girlfriend Amanda Du-Pont.

Nyovest went on to dedicate another song ( I wasn’t ready for you) to Thulo, in the song he revealed that he wasn’t ready for Boity. Cassper Nyovest admitted that he was guilty of part of their breakup.

After the breakup, Boity Thulo revealed that she cried about it, got angry about and tried to convince herself that it was okay.

“We broke up in December and I cried about it, got angry about and I tried to convince myself that it’s okay. Then eventually you are just like, life actually continues,” she said in an interview with True Love Magazine.

Boity and “boyfriend” Maps Maponyane dating rumors

She dismissed rumors of dating boyfriend television personality Maps Maponyane despite being cozy in front of cameras.

Fans have always questioned why Thulo is still single and some sparked the rumor that she may be dating Maps Maponyane. Boity quickly brushed off the speculation by saying the pair are just homies who are comfortable around each other. She denied dating the television, model, and businessman Maps Maponyane. Jokingly, she says she wanted to be by his side as his best woman when he gets married. Maps responded by saying she would be right next to him, alluding she might be the bride.

“He is single, I am assuming. I am single. Why don’t we just get married? We would look cute together. Our kids would be really pretty. We would be a power couple. No, I am joking,” Boity quipped.

Fans’ efforts to land Maps a ticket to become Boity boyfriend remained fruitless.

Boity Thulo Foundation

Due to her kind heart and her history, Boity has a soft spot for vulnerable children thus launching the Boity Thulo Foundation. She shares her wealth with vulnerable children through charity activities. The foundation has participated in paying school fees and providing sanitary wear to vulnerable communities.

Boity Thulo Own Your Throne

Own Your Throne every Wednesday at 21:30 on BET (DStv 124).

Premiered on BET on Dstv channel 124, Boity launched a reality show Own Your Throne on 5 January 2020 which airs every Wednesday at 21.30.

In the show she hosts, Boity gives her fans a chance to see how she lives her life. She also opened up about the things that mean the most to her, like her family, her ancestry, and her commitment to helping women and girls live their truth with confidence.

Boity zoomed in on her close relationship with her mother, Modiehi Thulo. Just like any mother-daughter relationship, they have their ups and downs but through it all, they’ve shown that their bond is unbreakable.

She gives advice to young girls who might be facing life problems or tough decisions, and she encourages them to take charge and Own the Throne.

Boity launched a series of products including Own Your Throne clothing lines.
