The tug of war between Nelia Kadungure and Patricia Darangwa has taken another twist as the latter has approached the Supreme court to overturn previous High court judgement.

Recently, High court judge Amy Tsanga ruled in favor of Ginimbi’s sister Nelia by nullifying an ‘unsigned’ Ginimbi’s will as dubious.

In an application letter dated 16 March, Patricia who is seeking to overturn the judgement outlined that:

The Court a quo erred in holding that the word drafted as it appears in section 8(5) of the wills Act Chapter 6:06 does not extend to will drafted by the third party on behalf of the deceased testator but only to those wills personally drafted by the deceased testator.

New Twist To Genius Kadungure - Ginimbi’s Will!

The Court a quo erred by upholding the new ground of review that the ‘Master’ had no jurisdiction to accept a will a document that was neither drafted or signed by a person who haa since died when the jurisdiction is what is specifically provided for in section 8(5) of the Wills Act [Chapter 6:06], a fortiori the exercise of that jurisdiction is what was done by the 5th respondent which process was not impugned by the First to Third respondents…

The family of the late flamboyant socialite had approached the courts with a bid to remove Patricia as the executor of the deceased’s estate.

Judge Tsanga declared the will null and void, giving Ginimbi’s family-Juliet, Nelia and their father Anderson the right to repossess the estate and the Lamborghini.

It is hereby declared that:
1. The documents registered with the second respondent (Master) on November 25 2020 under DRNumber 1771/20 as the will of the late Genius Kadungure who died on November 8 2020 is null and void, said Tsanga giving out the judgment.

Ginimbi was a well-known socialite and one of the richest young people in Zimbabwe as he owned a multi-million dollar ‘Versace’ mansion in Domboshava and a fleet of expensive luxury cars.

He [Ginimbi] passed on after being involved in a car accident while driving his Rolls Royce.
