Mswane’s destiny as a pageant queen was written in the stars, it seems. The 24-year-old hails from KwaSokhulu, Richards Bay, KwaZuluNatal . Moreover, from what we understand, the new pageant queen’s origins can be traced back to Eswatini as she is the daughter of former diplomat and minister, the late Muntu Mswane. Before gracing the Miss SA stage with her mission to use the pageantry as an opportunity to address unemployment and uplift the youth, Mswane was a professional dancer and model.
Her early childhood learning was completed at Crawford Preparatory in Pretoria where she fell in love with ballet, at the age of nine.
Her adolescent years were spent studying at Pro Arte Alphen Park High School and it was during this period that she honed her dancing skills, while scoring top marks on her regular subjects.
Mswane obtained her LLB degree from the University of Pretoria and describes herself as graceful, tenacious and meticulous and says she would love to meet the Minister of Employment and Labour, Thulas Nxesi, to discuss ways of alleviating the growing unemployment problem.
