Following the worldwide backlash, Prophet TB Joshua broke his silence and explained his shock statement.

The prophet said when he said the virus would end, he didn’t mean it would end throughout the world.

He said he meant that the virus would end in Wuhan in China where the virus initially began. Mzansi people reacted to the prophet’s statement and they're not impressed.

Facebook user Mo Senyatsi said: “Shem Mr. Joshua, this virus humbles not only government, but also scientists, healers, and prophets.”

While Eksé Ceejay Rasteez said: “This guy is a comedian, after lockdown, he must reconsider taking comedy as a career.”
