In a social media post, Pearl expressed her support and love for the embattled musician who is currently going through a troubled patch amid reports of bankruptcy, drug abuse and record label drama. Pearl’s message couldn’t come any sooner. In the short but touching message, Pearl wrote: ‘ I love you, bro, always’.

The pair’s bond goes way back and their relationship is rumoured to have been established in 2015 when Emtee penned a song about Pearl Thusi which was also named after the beautiful actress. In the song, the musician showered Pearl with praises and also expressed his love for her.

After the song was released Pearl featured in the video as a vixen.

Pearl also hogged headlines last week following the release of eagerly-awaited South African crime drama Queen Sono. What grabbed a lot of people’s attention was her topless steamy sex scene with co-star Vuyo Dabula. In a video snippet from one of the episodes that went viral, the pair set pulses racing, stripping naked for an intense bout of love-making.

In the film, Pearl plays the character of a James Bond-like operative who takes on dangerous assignments whilst contending with personal struggles and various relationships. She’s a member of a small South African intelligence unit called the Special Operations Group (SOP).
