Boxer Zhang Extremely Disfigured Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s Face For Sharing Insensitive Racist Joke Before Match.

A kickboxing fight between Zhang Weilimma and Joanna Jedrzejczyk turned extremely bad for the latter after her face was extremely disfigured in a boxing match allegedly for sharing racist and sensitive joke before the match.

Zhang, a Chinese kickboxer, retained her UFC Strawweight title on the 7th of Match as she defeated former five-time defending champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk (16-4) via split decision in a five-round brutal slugfest that will go down as one of the greatest in the division’s history. The faces of both women were badly bruised, and Jedrzejczyk, the former champ, wore significant swelling on her forehead for much of the contest.

The fight had many throughout sports and the MMA world taking to Twitter to sing the praises of both fighters. However not to be missed was the faceoff between the two boxers which had some alleging Zhang’s ruthless attack was emotionally fuelled by Joanna’s insensitive and racist Instagram post.

Joanna had earlier on shared an insensitive Instagram post alleging Zhang, through her Asian descent, had coronavirus, a deadly novel virus that originated from the Asian continent. Hence, she wore a gas mask to protect herself from the supposed coronavirus infected Asian fighter.

Zhang was quick to take it to Instagram stressing out her dislike over the said bad joke.

The post read:

To make fun of tragedy is a true sign of one’s character. People are dying, someone’s father, someone’s mother, someone’s child. Say what you want about me if it makes you feel stronger but do not joke about whats happening here. I wish you good health until March 7th. I will see you soon.

“I was pretty sure I got it,” Zhang said through an interpreter. “It was a great performance. We are all martial artists here. We don’t want trash-talking. We want mutual respect.”

Both women were admitted to the hospital after the fight and were discharged early Sunday morning, according to their teams.
