Zahara Humiliated After Failing To Pay For Dress

South African singer and songwriter Zahara was recently shamed by a fashion designer on social media for allegedly failing to pay for a dress he made for her close to four years ago.

The designer, Otsile Sefolo, lambasted the musician on the comments section of a Facebook post she made on her official account, this publication has established through online tabloid paper, Zalebs.

In the lengthy comment on social media, which has since been deleted, Otsile accused the talented songstress of duping him. Otsile sensationally alleged that Zahara had not given him either recognition or payment for a designer dress he made for her back in 2016.

He wrote,’ The devil herself is onstage. This lady screwed me over twice. She failed to pay me the money she owed me from the dress I made for her in 2016 and now she wears my designs and fails to give us credit for our work…[she] has the audacity to bring back the dress dirty’.

However, this is not the first time the musician, real name Bulelwa Mkutukana has hogged the limelight for failing to pay off her debts. The umthwalo hitmaker last year made headlines after it emerged that she had a heavy load of debts on her shoulders.
According to reports from South African local media, the songstress was reported to have failed to oppose an application brought by Nedbank last year to repossess her R2 million gate property in Ritzy suburb of Little Falls, west Joburg. At the same time, Standard Bank was reported to be moving to repossess her Range Rover Evoque after she abdicated from making her monthly instalments.
