One of Zimbabwe’s most talented musicians, Afro-Fusion artist Prince Kudakwashe Musarurwa has died. He was just 31 years old.
The talented musician who produced a number of great songs is most famous for his collaboration with fellow Afro-fusion artist Pah Chihera which produced the monster hit song “Runonzi Rudo”.
Musarurwa is reported to have succumbed to lung cancer.
He died on Saturday at Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital after a long and hard-fought battle against cancer.
His albums included Kurarama (2011), Gara Muberevere (2012), Gogodera (2013) and Chiga Chikuru (2014). He was about to release an album titled, Nyamasase.
His family has said that they will release burial arrangements in due course.
