President Mnangagwa fingered Former First Lady Grace Mugabe a couple of times, but this time it’s his turn as his number two’s erstwhile wife has fingered him in the raging externalisation debacle.
Marry Mubaiwa Chiwenga is unexpectedly turning the tables against ZANU PF Supremo, President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Marry’s legal team filed appeal and bail papers at the High Court yesterday(Wednesday) describing the former model and video vixen’s arrest over attempted murder and externalisation as hilarious and baseless.
Marry fingered the President, telling the court that he (Mnangagwa) gave her US$30 000 to go to China and visit the then-ailing Chiwenga right after the alleged attempted murder, thus questioning the logic of the accusations.

The court papers revealed that when Chiwenga was in China for further treatment after ‘the attempted murder’, the retired General made a request to President Mnangagwa to have her flown to China so that she could be by his bedside.
It was further revealed that Mnangagwa acquiesced to the request and furnished her with US$30 000 for personal upkeep while in China.
New Zimbabwe reports that Marry in her papers cheekily submitted that her arrest reminded of the saying that when a hyena wants to eat its children, it first accuses them of having the scent of goats.
She also further claimed that the charges brought against her were frivolous, baseless and fabricated by Chiwenga against his estranged wife in order for him to win the divorce process they are going through.
