Discover the inspiration behind the first Mouawad Miss Universe Crown, now revealed for the first time!
The world-renowned luxury Lebanese jeweller Mouawad revealed a few months ago an exciting and one of a kind partnership with Miss Universe organization, announcing that they're going to be the crown jewellers for Miss Universe for the next five years, the deal also includes crowns and tiaras for Miss U.S.A. and Miss Teen U.S.A.
Earlier today, and after a long wait, Mouawad Jewelry finally unveiled the Mouawad Miss Universe Crown at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta (USA), in the presence of Paula M. Sugart, the President of The Miss Universe Organization, as well as Pascal Mouawad, the co-guardian of Mouawad (Retail division), Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, and the candidates of Miss Universe 2019.
Mouawad Jewelry also revealed the new crown on their social media accounts by posting a video with the inspiring story behind the design. The crown symbolizes Unity and is estimated to be worth US$5,000,000, according to the jeweller.
