Salma Hayek Celebrates 53rd Birthday with Bikini Selfie: 'You Don't Look A Day Over 35'

Proving she’s got no problem with being another year older, the actress posted a swimsuit-clad snap from a beach getaway on Instagram.

“Yes, tomorrow I turn 53. So!?” she wrote in the accompanying caption, hinting that age is merely a number as far as beach bodies are concerned.

Unsurprisingly, Instagram was totally down with the empowering post, with fans taking to the comments section to praise the star for her inspiring body confidence.

“53 or 35?” one comment read.

“You don't look a day over 35... amazing!” another agreed.

“This woman still looks like she in her 20s!” a follower gushed, while another tagged her the “hottest 53-year-old ever”.

“Can’t believe you 53 OMG,” another remarked.

The star’s celebrity friends also joined in the collective applause, with Lenny Kravitz, 55, commenting: “@salmahayek and it never looked so good!!!!!”

Model Cindy Crawford, who is also in her 50s and has a killer bikini body herself, simply left fire emojis in the comments section.

“You look so beautiful,” added British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, who recently featured Hayek on his Meghan Markle-edited cover.

It isn’t the first time the Mexican star has taken to social media to show off her incredible figure.

Earlier this year the actress cut a fierce figure on the ’gram in a cut-out leopard print swimsuit.

That followed an amazing picture of herself in a black plunging swimming costume with rope detail, shared to her Instagram account.

Salma joins stars such as Elizabeth Hurley, 54, and Davina McCall, 51, who also regularly defy their age by showing off their beach bodies in swimwear.
