Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries founder, Prophet Walter Magaya’s mother has opened up the horrific attack by armed robbers at their home on Sunday.
According to the local tabloid, H-Metro, the armed robbers broke into the home of Magaya’s parents on Sunday and got away with more than RTGS $2 000 and property.
Speaking to the publication, Prophet Magaya’s mother opened up on the attack.
”I heard disturbing noise while I was attending to my sick mothers in her room.
”As I went out to the girl’s room, I met these masked men who attacked demanding for money from Sunday’s church offerings and to see my son.
”They wanted to attack my mother too and out of fear I offered to give them US$2 000, which I had in my bedroom narrated Prophet Magaya’s mother.
”One of the robbers was holding a pistol while others were holding batons and a harmer, which they used to attack me and my husband.
”They continued demanding more cash before searching all the rooms and finding another cash box in which I had stashed more than RTGS $2 000 I had realised from my poultry and vending business.
"This man gained entrance after attacking three of our security guards, trying them up and using one of them to lead them into the house,” she said
She also told the publication that she suffered a swollen neck, was stripped naked and had petrol poured on her. After dousing her with petrol the thugs then failed to find the matches to set her on fire.
Her ailing husband (Prophet Magaya’s father) wrestled one of the men before fracturing his right hand in the process.
