The President of Cameroon Paul Biya has in his inaugural speech promised to through decentralization bring a solution to the problem plaguing the two English speaking regions of the country.
He was speaking at the National Assembly where he took the inaugural oath into the helm of affairs in the country.
In the inaugural speech, President Paul Biya promised to look into the preoccupations of people in the North West and South West Regions of the country.

He further promises to make peace and security return to these regions, calling on the population to cooperate with authorities in the region in order to give peace and security a chance.
However, the president warns against the secessionist fighters causing havoc in the English speaking regions as well as the Boko Haram insurgency plaguing the northern regions of the country.
