Yaoundé -The Chairpersons of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, has exhorted the Government of Cameroon to effectively address the on-going Crisis plaguing the two English-speaking Regions of Cameroon.
Faki Mahamat made the call Wednesday, November 7, 2018, following the liberation of some 79 kidnapped students, who were kidnapped at the Presbyterian Secondary School(PSS) Nkwen, Bamenda, in the North West Region of Cameroon.According to an official statement, published on Wednesday November 7, 2018, Moussa Faki Mahamat, expressed satisfaction with reports of the release of 79 schoolchildren who were abducted together with members of the teaching staff, from their school in the North West Region of Cameroon on Monday, November 5, 2018.

Faki Mahamat said he is concerned at the continued violence in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon and called for renewed efforts to address the situation and find a lasting solution through an inclusive dialogue. National Times
