Speaking to the media, Kamto says: “I cannot recognize the result which proclaimed a winner who did not win.”

Maurice Kamto emerged second in the election with a total percentage of 14.23%, losing to the proclaimed winner Paul Biya of the CPDM party, who according to the official result of the Constitutional Council won with a 71.28percent.

Worthy of note is the fact that, the said Constitutional council rejected all the petitions from the CRM and other opposition political parties in the country, calling for a partial or total cancellation of the election.

Kamto in a video outing yesterday says he won the elections by over 39%.
