Professor Elvis Ngole Ngole Urges Kamto To Concede Defeat

Cameroon’s former Minister of Forestry and Wildlife Elvis Ngolle Ngolle has called on MRC candidate Maurice Kamto to accept defeat after he lost to President Paul Biya in the October 7 presidential poll in the country.

Speaking yesterday October 28 on CRTV’s Cameroon Calling, the former minister said that MRC’s post election litigations calling for a partial cancellation of the October presidential election were thrown out by the constitutional council because they lacked substance and relevance before the law, thus the flag bearer of the party should concede defeat.

Prof Ngolle Ngolle added that the opposition did not win because they lacked the experience and organization.

He went ahead to say they might have lacked finances and organization, comparing them to the winning CPDM which to him had a formidable organization.

The former minister in hope that Kamto will realize the judgment of the Constitutional Council and work for the good of the republic said he is a man with republican values and should accept defeat like the others.
He further reiterated that the results of the election have been made known and Paul Biya is president to all Cameroonians including Maurice Kamto.

However, Kamto unlike other candidates continue to challenge the result of the election proclaimed by the Constitutional Council.
