The Head of State Paul Biya returned to Cameroon on Saturday after attending the third Forum of the China-Africa Cooperation which rounded off over a week ago.
“Back from the People’s Republic of China, where a new pathway to a mutually-beneficial framework was adopted at the third Forum of China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC)”. Paul Biya wrote on his Facebook page to announce his return to the country over a week after the Forum ended.

In addition to signing important cooperations with China, Paul held discussions wwhich he described as reassuring ith H.E. Xi Jinping of China on the new orientation of Sino-Cameroon cooperation at the Great Hall of the People where he reiterated Cameroon’s adherence to China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
The Head of State will now turn his focus to the Presidential election billed for October 7 with campaigns officially starting on September 22.
