2019 AFCON: CAF President Says Cameroon Is Not Ready!

For the third time Ahmad Ahmad President of the Confederation African Football (CAF) expressed his doubts on Cameroon’s ability to host the CAN 2019.

According to him, Cameroon might not be able to complete infrastructural construction in time.

Ahmad Ahmad believes Cameroon is not ready to host this competition come June 19, as he proclaims in an interview “If you ask me, Cameroon would be the best country to host CAN because of its football history but there are still questions about their willingness to organise a successful tournament” (Journal du Cameroun)
His view is based on the unavailability of CAN infrastructure, competition stadiums, training grounds, hotels, renovation of airports and so many things to be done and limited time.
