Members of parliament in Germany have called of their government to review cooperation ties with Cameroon due to the ongoing crisis in the two English-speaking regions of Cameroon.
Germany promised a 100,5 millions euros aid to Cameroon which will be spread across 2017-2019 but the crisis in the two English-speaking regions could prevent some of the projcts to be realised.
Several projects from the German civil society as well as religious missions are threatened by the insecurity thus the parliamentarians have called on their government to help look for a preventive measures so as to enable such projects to continue.

Call on the government to free all those arrested within the context of the crisis, encourgae the African Union to take a step in resolving the crisis, call on the United Nations security council to investigate war crimes, encourage a process of dialogue between the government and anglophones through the church.
Over fifteen points were tabled to the German government by the Bundestag and it is now left to see what action they will take.
