Cameroon’s football super star and UNICEF goodwill ambassador, Samuel Eto’o fils has been told by the world body that they do not stand with him as he planned visiting schools in the politically charged North West and South West region of the country.
The over achieved multimillionaire footballer and Africa most decorated footballer has drawn nationally condemnation especially from Anglophone Cameroon as he planned to visit schools and preach peace around the country beginning with the affected regions.
In a partnership with the country’s ministry of Secondary Education, the super star and Antalysport striker plans to begin his tour many have dubbed the “tour of shame” to restive Anglophone regions which has been gripped by brutal and senseless conflict dubbed the “Anglophone crisis” for close to two years now.
Critics have heavily criticize the person with arguably the most famous face and names in the country for his silence in the phase of countless deaths, many thousands displaced at home and abroad.
