The Presidents of the both the Upper and Lower Houses of Parliament called for peace and harmony amongst Cameroonians while condemning acts of babarism during the opening of the June parliamentary session.
At the Upper House of Parliament, Senate President Marcel Niat Njifenji condemned acts of barbarism that have jeopardised peace and living together in the North West and South West Regions of the country and called on Senators to seek for peaceful solutions to the crisis.
He also called on the population to guard against fake news propagated on social media aimed at manipulating the public.
