Operation Sparrow Hawk - Kondengui Central Prison Welcomes Three Mighty New Inmates

The Yaounde Kondengui Central Prison, today March 21st, 2018 welcomed three senior inmates who are top government officials, arrested recently on different embezzlement counts.

The three new inmates are: Louis Max Ayina, Former Secretary of Roads at the Ministry of Pubic Works, Jean William Sollo, former Director General of CAMWATER, and Dieudonne Oyono, former Rector of the University of Douala.

The three men have been at the Special Criminal Court since Monday March 19, where they were being auditioned by investigating judges, and failed to prove their innocence.
The Operation Sparrow Hawk has recently sparked shock waves of fears among government officials and Directors of Parastatals, who had been audited by the Higher State Control and found wanting.

More arrests are still ongoing, as soon of the victims run out of the country to take refuge in foreign lands.
