Political pundits have argued that the main reason Laurent ESSO - La Republique's Minister of Justice & Keeper of the Seals has consistently held onto AYAH's neck is because he (AYAH) undressed ESSO shortly after getting to Parliament.
At the time ESSO was SG at the presidency, AYAH disclosed that ESSO backed 2.5 million per day for fuel allowance. Yes, 2.5 million francs. You read me well!
And that is how taxpayers monies are being squandered. In the area of entertainment, it is worse. In 2012, Popular Action Party, PAP published a report that the presidency squanders some 10,248,000,000 FCFA per year (28 million FCFA every day as entertainment allowance). Fast-forward to 2017: this figure has not changed. If anything, it has only increased. You may be wondering if this were real. Yes, it is. And it is not an 'illegal' amount. It is official (an actual allocation by parliament - see La Republique's 2017 Finance Law).
Out of curiosity, I touched base with an unimpeachable source at the presidency of La Republique du CameroUn. She reveals that these sums are not actually meant for entertainment purposes. She said diplomats who visit Paul Biya's palace after some 'serious discussions' are handed huge chunks of envelops as 'fuel money'. I quickly interjected to question if those diplomats were not provided fuel packages by their own governments and organisations they work for. She smiles and asks, 'do you want us to call it bribe. The amounts prepared are mouth-waltery such that they are too heavy to turn down. Whenever there's some serious issue to be exchanged between CameroUn and others, we make sure we provide fuel packages'.
One can only begin to 'conjour' where all monies meant for entertainment go to. Biya packages irresistible sums and buys the consciences of these diplomats. Tell me why the special representative of the UN SG would submit a half-baked report to the UN after visiting Yaounde. In that report, the nyamfucka claims that the regime was negotiating with the leaders of the strike action. Which leaders when all of them are either in jail or on exile? His report makes no mention of Chief Justice AYAH Paul - a man he'd tried to meet but the SED authorities blocked. No one will convince me that mighty envelopes disguised as 'fuel money' didn't change hands. This is also true for notorious diplomats like the US ambassador who is noted for 'Issa Tchiromarring' [talking from both sides of his mouth].
We, the people of the Southern Cameroons will fight till the last drop until our independence is restored. We will never give up. Take your 'fuel money' all you want but the chickens will soon come home to roost.
