The Director of cabinet at the Prime Ministry has warned that there is no compromise for schools in the Anglophone regions which do not comply with 2017 schedule for official exams.
Prof Paul Ghogomu Mingo who was addressing the Executive Members of the North West Fons Union vowed that not even repeated ghost towns will stop the exams .
Ghogomu believes that those blocking school resumption in these regions are individuals who are bent on causing disorder. He told the traditional rulers that Government is bent on ensuring a hitch free conduct of the exams and security imperatives will be put in place to that end He encouraged the Fons to talk to their subjects and make them see the need of sending their children to school, reiterating Government's good will to solve the grievances raised by Anglophone lawyers and teachers.
The Fons in two motions of support said they were behind President Paul Biya's bid for a new mandate and also welcomed the creation of the Commission for the Promotion of Bilingualism and Multiculturalism.
They expressed their desire for constructive dialogue to end the growing imp-ass.
