Cote d’Ivoire’s Minister of State in charge of Political Dialogue and Relations with Institutions is in Cameroon to tap from the experience of the Senate in Cameroon.
Mr Jeannot Ahoussou Kouadio was received in audience on Monday by the president of Cameroon’s upper house of parliament, the Senate.
The special envoy from the president of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara, is in Cameroon to copy the experience of the four-year-old Cameroon’s Senate in order to help build Ivory Coast’s baby senate.
Mr Kouadio’s stay in Cameroon ends on Wednesday.

“We are going to work, deeply work. We are very delighted to be in Cameroon,” Mr Kouadio disclosed his commitment to work with Cameroon.
Ivory Coast voted in a referendum last year to create an upper chamber of parliament alongside the post of vice-president.
The Senate went operational in Cameroon in 2013.
